Hyo Ji Yoon

I am a multilingual professional combining search-language expertise with occupational health, safety and environment experience. I modeled new features and improved query understanding for Spanish, English and Korean markets while evaluating ML pipelines and training AI.

At Qualitest I performed loss analysis, curated recall and precision sets, developed grammar, and evaluated feature triggering quality to reduce failure points. I also trained new team members on technical tools and internal workflows and proactively mitigated project risks under tight deadlines.

Earlier, as an HSE Coordinator with Hyundai Engineering & Construction, I provided simultaneous and consecutive interpretation in Spanish, Korean and English, translated complex safety legislation, and managed contracts and regulatory documentation. I maintained safety records, accident reports and worker training matrices to ensure compliance.

I hold an MS in Occupational Safety, Health and Environment and a BA in English Language and Literature. I bring cross-cultural communication skills, strong attention to regulatory detail, and hands-on experience bridging technical ML evaluation with practical HSE operations.
