Heather Grimm

I've taught research, writing, economics, literature, religion, government, and political science across secondary and university settings. At Northwestern University, I developed original seminar syllabi, earned a 5.6/6 instructional effectiveness rating, and created the doctoral program's first New TA Workshop Series.

As a Graduate Writing Fellow at Graduate Writing Place, I provided one-on-one support to graduate writers, with 90% of clients rating sessions “excellent.” I also redesigned fellow task distribution, trained peer tutors, and facilitated a writing group with the organization’s highest participation and retention.

My interdisciplinary theatre and drama research has resulted in five publications and 17 conference presentations, including work on equity and inclusion in music. I bring experience in qualitative data collection, coding, literature reviews, research ethics, editing, and workshop facilitation.
