Charles Hollenbeck
@charleshollenbeck
I build measurable academic operations, curriculum systems, and continuous-improvement workflows.
What I'm looking for
At West Coast University, I launched and managed an asynchronous writing-feedback service that returned every paper within 24 to 48 hours across a distributed instructor team.
To scale student support without scaling headcount, I designed a content system of 80+ visual writing guides, a 20-video FAQ series, and faculty video programming across six subjects. I also created technical-writing curriculum and taught healthcare students in writing and capstone courses.
Across fifteen years in higher education, I've taught English, writing, literature, communication, and humanities courses for institutions including Southern Utah University, Chamberlain University, Tompkins Cortland Community College, South University, and Bryant & Stratton College.
I apply Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PRINCE2, governance, and risk practices to institutional workflows, using data to identify operational constraints and improve outcomes. I'm most useful where instruction, operations, and continuous improvement intersect.
