I seek a collaborative environment that values innovative teaching and research.

I am an Assistant Professor of Literature and Cultural Studies at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where I develop and teach courses in Humanities, Literature, Writing, Gender, Disability, and Cultural Studies. My academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I focused on cultural disability narratives and their intersection with gendered pain.

Throughout my career, I have designed innovative curricula and mentored students, fostering an inclusive learning environment. My experience includes presenting original research at prestigious conferences and contributing to academic discourse through various publications. I am committed to enhancing humanities programming and collaborating with colleagues to enrich the academic community.
