Haidy Ibrahim

I’m an English Editor with a strong translation background, driven by a genuine love for languages and a desire to “transfer cultural differences through translating languages.” I currently work full-time as an English Editor at Pixelogic Media, and I also maintain active freelance translation work across English and Arabic.

I translate documents and published English works into Arabic, and I’ve built audiovisual translation experience through volunteering as a short film translator and team leader. I translated various short films using Subtitle Edit, worked with SRTs, and focused on ensuring quality while learning directly from professionals in the field.

Alongside translation, I’ve taught English conversation and phonetics to adults online and on-site, and I’ve developed presentation and leadership skills through professional volunteering (including a children’s library role at Bibliotheca Alexandrina). I’m now focused on combining editing, subtitling, and translation expertise to deliver language content that’s accurate, polished, and culturally natural.
