Francis Lee
@francislee
Seasoned techbio leader building platforms, ML-driven R&D, and scalable lab automation teams.
What I'm looking for
I am a techbio and deeptech executive and engineer who advises founders, builds technology platforms, and leads multidisciplinary teams from prototype to scale. I have driven platform and product development at Series B companies, served as a fractional CTO for startups and VCs, and delivered patented hardware–software systems and ML pipelines for peptide and biologics design.
My work spans computational biology, lab automation, and data infrastructure: I have grown teams from single digits to 55 people, published three patents, architected production-grade ML and inference systems for pharma clients, and helped raise venture financing. I bring a pragmatic, research-driven approach to product strategy, fundraising support, and operationalizing R&D efforts.
