What I'm looking for

I'm looking to advise or lead biotechnology programs where I can translate platform science, strain engineering, funding strategy, and commercialization planning into scalable products and business outcomes.

I've led biotechnology R&D and commercialization programs at Yali Bio, Provenance, Trelys, TerraVia/Solazyme, and Solazyme, advancing high-value oils, alternative proteins, and scalable production platforms. My work includes directing strain engineering that enabled commercial-scale algae butter production, advancing protein products toward market readiness, and delivering algae-derived oils for Unilever.

I've secured NIH funding, built IP-rich technology portfolios as an inventor on 75 patents, and translated scientific strategy into product, funding, and commercialization plans. I also evaluate AI and data-centric molecular biology, bioinformatics, biology, and biosafety workflows for scientific correctness, reasoning quality, and safety relevance.
