What I'm looking for

I’m looking for roles where I can apply CDI-level interpreting and educational support to ensure language access—especially for Deaf students experiencing language deprivation—while collaborating with schools, families, and teams that value Deaf culture and communication clarity.

I’m a CDI-certified Deaf Interpreter (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) since September 2006, combining interpreting with education-focused support. From freelance work with agencies such as Deaf Hearing Communication Centre and SIGNInterpreting Services to long-term roles in school settings, I consistently deliver clear communication for Deaf students, Deaf campers, and Deaf behavioral and mental health clients.

My work centers on educational interpreting and language access—especially for students experiencing language deprivation. I’ve served as a Deaf Interpreter, Deaf Mentor and Tutor through the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf Educational Outreach Program, and I specialized in educational interpreting for the School District of Philadelphia (Abraham Lincoln High School, LaBrum Middle School, and Bache Martin Elementary). I also contributed as Language and Cultural Mediator (including a Deaf student from Guatemala), coordinated closing ceremonies for Camp Overbrook, and supported sign language community building as a co-advisor for BAM!
