What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students—delivering direct and consultative instruction, developing IEP-aligned supports, troubleshooting hearing technology, and advocating accessible learning environments.

I’m a Special Education teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, with an M.A. in Special Education (Teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing) and ongoing work providing direct and consultative support. I translate communication and instructional goals into practical classroom strategies, and I also build job readiness skills through vocational training.

In my itinerant teaching roles, I develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals aligned to communication, academic, and social-emotional needs. I deliver direct instruction in auditory skills, language development, reading comprehension, and written expression, and I recommend accommodations such as preferential seating, visual supports, captioning, and assistive listening devices while supporting hearing technology in collaboration with audiologists.
