At QIC, I shipped the company’s first product sold fully online, from landing page to payment to an active policy, with identity checked through Qatar ID. I now own the Life & Medical digital stream at group level across Qatar and the UAE.
I brought corporate medical policies and retail customers into one app for policies, claims, documents and support. I also integrated a health data partner for wearable sync, a health dashboard and telemedicine, and launched a retirement and education savings funnel that returns about twice its full marketing spend.
At Renaissance Insurance, I ran product for the B2B unit and launched four products from zero, including an HR portal, a health app, an operator desk and the back office behind them. I line-managed seven product managers, and moving routine requests into app self-service cut about 20% of manual operator work.
I test demand with real traffic before building, and at QIC I built the stream’s analytics dashboard with AI coding agents, using daily data from BigQuery, Jira, targets and the media plan. My work has focused on regulated insurance markets, especially health and life, where the payer and the person using the cover are often different.
