What I'm looking for

I'm looking to lead and build scalable backend, cloud, and event-driven platforms, partnering closely with product and business stakeholders while remaining hands-on with architecture, modernization, reliability, and delivery.

At San Services Honduras, I own architecture for revenue management, booking, payments, inventory, data synchronization, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations. I partner with architects and stakeholders to modernize legacy pricing and booking platforms while protecting operational continuity.

I've led high-volume event-driven designs using Oracle, GoldenGate CDC, Kafka, Spring Boot, and Couchbase, and I architect secure payment and booking integrations with CyberSource. My work spans Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GCP, Azure, observability, migration planning, and production readiness.

I progressed from junior developer to backend team lead, mentoring an eight-engineer distributed team while remaining hands-on with Java, Kotlin, Go, React, and cloud-native delivery. I've also delivered Kotlin/Ktor services and a Python hybrid recommendation engine for Yuti, using AI-assisted workflows and MCP integrations to improve engineering delivery.
