@guillermolopez
Senior full-stack engineer building end-to-end backend and data-driven web systems.
What I'm looking for
I’m a senior full stack engineer with 7+ years building production systems in .NET/C#, Node.js, Angular, and React. I focus on backend services, data pipelines, and shipping features end to end across architecture, testing, and deployment.
In my most recent role, I built and shipped features for the provider subrogation pipeline, including a new worker service that processes outsourced response files with auto detected delimiters across CSV, TXT, and Excel—backed by BDD test coverage in Reqnroll. I also refactored shared file-processing base classes to standardize behavior, added health check endpoints across a 3-tier API chain for end-to-end deployment verification, and migrated Angular 14 to 17 while replacing Material design with Bootstrap to improve load times and speed feature delivery. On the performance side, I improved API response times by ~20% using cursor-based pagination and query tuning on high-volume Dapper + SQL Server endpoints, and strengthened reliability with xUnit and NSubstitute tests while contributing to Azure DevOps CI/CD automation.
Earlier, I served as a Tech Lead where I set technical direction and standards for code review, branching, and releases, owned software quality through consistent PR review, and mentored engineers through tricky issues while continuing to ship as an IC. I’ve also led QA automation work where I cut lead time by 25% through escalation management and agile workflow changes—so I bring both engineering depth and delivery discipline to every team. I use Claude Code and Cursor daily to refactor, generate tests, and navigate unfamiliar parts of codebases.
