Dylyn Turner-Keener
@dylynturner-keener
I build racial equity frameworks, community engagement tools, and education policy research for public institutions.
What I'm looking for
I'm designing the Racial Equity Framework and Community Engagement Toolkit for the Racial Equity Commission, helping state agencies and local governments embed equity into policies, programs, and practices. I coordinate statewide Commission activities, public meetings, roadshows, and equity-centered listening sessions that turn community feedback into actionable guidance.
I've also supported higher education research at The Education Trust, including UC access, diversity, anti-DEI legislation, and MSI appropriations analysis. As co-founder of the Black Wellness Package, I developed equitable learning and wellness resources for Black college students, conducted mixed-methods research, piloted the initiative with Mills College STEM faculty and students, and presented the work at the American Sociological Association Annual Meeting.
