Stanford University alum with an M.A. in Public Policy (Concentration in Education Policy) and a B.A. in African and African American Studies

United States
Message

I am a Stanford University alumna with an M.A. in Public Policy (Concentration in Education Policy) and a B.A. in African and African American Studies (Minors in Sociology and Education). My work is focused on how education policy can improve access, assessment, and outcomes for historically marginalized students, and on bettering the classroom experience for both students and teachers.

My experience spans research, writing, and program coordination across academic, nonprofit, and federal settings. As a Research Assistant in Stanford's Higher Education and Diversity (HEIDIVE) Lab, I conducted secondary research on higher education program development, synthesizing findings from sources across JSTOR, EBSCO, and ProQuest. As a Writing Tutor at Stanford's Hume Center, I taught over 250 students to write policy briefs, op-eds, and other persuasive formats, and I later managed the university's undergraduate tutoring staff as Peer Tutor Coordinator. I also designed and led professional development workshops as an intern for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, and I researched and developed art-education curriculum as an Education Intern at the National Museum of Women in the Arts.

I bring qualitative and quantitative research skills (RStudio, Stata, Excel) alongside strong policy writing and cross-stakeholder communication. I'm currently seeking research, policy analyst, or program roles in education policy, open to remote work or opportunities in the Bay Area.
