Dorothy Kobugabe

I’m a results-driven Environment Education Officer at the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), where I plan and coordinate national environmental education programs. I collaborate closely with NGOs, government agencies, and stakeholders to keep activities aligned with real community needs.

In my work, I prepare reports, briefs, and presentations for stakeholders, and I track performance using monitoring and evaluation tools. I focus on stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and actionable reporting that supports decision-making.

Before NEMA, I worked as a Programs Officer – HIV/TB Programs (Preventive Care International), coordinating community health programs and outreach activities. I collected and analyzed program data for donor reporting, and I also conducted trainings and sensitization workshops to strengthen uptake and understanding.

I’m also strengthening my technical skills through Software Engineering with Python training, aiming to bring a more data-informed, systems-oriented approach to program work. I’m energized by roles that combine community impact, rigorous monitoring, and continuous learning.
