Chiara Ferrario

I am a multilingual communications professional with experience in translation, virtual assistance, voice acting, social media and museum/tourism support. I graduated with a BA in Languages, Literatures and Intercultural Studies from Università degli Studi di Firenze, completing a thesis on class and Marxism in Simone de Beauvoir’s “Le Deuxième Sexe”.

I have worked freelance since 2020 on platforms such as Upwork and Freelancer providing translations, proofreading, book reviewing, virtual assistant services and voice acting, and I served as both a Personal Assistant and Social Media Manager in the past.

My institutional and tourism-sector experience includes part-time work at the Erasmus Office of Università degli Studi di Firenze and a role at Start s.r.l., a business that provides audioguides for exhibitions, museums and tourist attractions. I also held seasonal receptionist and personal assistant duties at a London legal office.

I bring strong language skills (Italian native; Brazilian Portuguese native; English C1; French B2 and Spanish B2), solid computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Google services, and strengths in communication, teamwork and problem solving. I seek roles where I can apply multilingual communication, content and creative creation and cultural mediation to support projects and audiences.
