What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can own HRIS-driven onboarding and payroll/AR-AP processes end-to-end, partner on compliance, and keep operations organized through clear policies, thoughtful systems, and continuous improvement.

I’m an HR & Finance Specialist who owns end-to-end people operations and finance workflows—bringing compliance, clarity, and efficient systems to every stage from hiring to termination.

In my most recent role, I managed HR & finance operations, including HRIS management (Gusto), recruitment and job description creation, automated onboarding workflows and checklists, background checks, open enrollment, and policy/handbook writing. I also owned offboarding and time off processes, including FMLA and disability, while maintaining state labor compliance and government account upkeep.

On the finance side, I run end-to-end payroll through QuickBooks, handle reporting in Excel, and manage AR/AP operations such as invoice creation, follow-up, and reconciliations. I’ve also supported multi-state compliance, W2 & 1099 management, and, during COVID-19, stepped into expanded operational needs—like HIPAA-compliant document workflows, multi-department purchasing, and multi-state licensing research—to keep the business moving.
