I lead revenue cycle operations for the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Plains CPAC, supporting the Montana, Sheridan, and Cheyenne Veterans Medical Centers. I oversee billing, collections, accounts receivable, insurance claims, coordination of benefits, and compliance with VA policy and federal regulations.
I use VSSC, Huron, mPower, VistA, Power BI, and SharePoint to monitor KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Through Lean Six Sigma methods and audit findings, I drive corrective actions that reduce denials, increase collections, and strengthen operational quality.
I also supervise Revenue Technicians, develop SOPs, train staff, resolve complex claims, and support Veterans and families with billing disputes, debt relief, waivers, and repayment plans. Outside VA, I run Walby’s Whimsical Journeys, where I plan and book personalized travel experiences for clients.
