In my current role as a Billing Support Manager at Eastern State Hospital, I support billing operations with accurate workflows across claims, account follow-up, and patient-related administration. I process insurance claims, verify patient coverage, assist patients with billing questions in a clear and empathetic way, and generate reports to monitor billing activity and identify issues—while coordinating with clinical and administrative staff to support daily operations.

Previously, as a Billing Specialist at Harlan County Mental Health Center, I processed medical claims and payment postings with a focus on accuracy, verified insurance eligibility and benefits, and resolved billing discrepancies through investigation and follow-up. Across both roles, I maintained confidential patient information in line with HIPAA, supported administrative coordination in mental health settings, and developed strengths I’m now aiming to apply to remote behavioral health support, intake and care coordination, and AI training/data annotation or content review.
