I started my work in the Portland area as a site director for the YMCA, leading elementary students in lessons that focused on building relationships, leadership skills, and providing space for growth and connection. I also worked as a basketball coach, developing essential team building skills as I responded to student’s needs. I then worked various positions for Nike and Amazon, both well-known companies that offered numerous professional experiences. During this time, I found my strengths in relationship building, organization, and communications that directed my career goals toward administration and providing support from behind the scenes.
