I’m a customer service professional with 10 years of experience at Benin Electricity Company (BEDC) and Benin Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC), focused on helping customers resolve issues with accuracy and professionalism. I build trust by combining customer relations management with clear communication and timely follow-through.
In my roles across distribution and customer-facing operations, I’ve handled walk-in requests and complaints, maintained procedures for first-level problem determination, and escalated issues to the right stakeholders for resolution. I also researched, prioritized, and followed up to ensure smooth, speeding resolutions of complaints and requests.
I’ve managed both customer support and payment processes, including prepaid meter monitoring and reconciliation of accounts, bill delivery and meter reading reporting, and cashier duties such as receiving cash/cheques, processing post-paid utility bills, and vending for customers with prepaid meters to generate electricity tokens. I maintain daily records of cash and cheque collections/payments and support disconnection supervision and reporting.
