At International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), I translated Amharic audio into English and transcribed 67 hours of recordings, then edited and formatted the transcripts to agreed guidelines.
With Creative International, I interpreted interviews from Amharic and Afaan Oromo into English, transcribed the audio in the local language, and translated it back to English. I also reviewed transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
As a Research Analyst at Includovate, I analyzed qualitative and quantitative data and produced analytical reports. I conducted and transcribed interviews and trained enumerators and field teams on data collection tools and protocols.
Across research assignments, I’ve contributed to evaluation methods, data quality assurance, qualitative analysis, and reporting. I’m a native Oromo speaker, proficient in Amharic and English, and certified in data labelling and annotation for AI development and Human in-the-Loop QA.
