I am a UAS Specialist with a telecommunications and IT background, currently serving at the Civil Aviation Authority of Albania where I focus on drone safety, regulatory compliance, and airspace integration.
I have hands-on experience across technical support, network device configuration, monitoring systems and IT support tools, having worked in retail IT, ISP support, telecom operations and remote IT engineering roles.
At the Civil Aviation Authority I monitor and enforce national and international UAS regulations (including EASA standards), perform inspections and audits, review operational authorizations, assess flight safety risks, and investigate UAS incidents while drafting findings and recommendations.
I combine technical skills (CCNA, device configuration, monitoring and documentation tools) with aviation-specific training (EASA regulation implementation, UAS SORA, UTM, SMS, human factors and dangerous goods), and I collaborate with governmental and law enforcement institutions to improve drone safety and policy.
