Ben Hays

I lead operations at The Emerge Center, overseeing a 175,000-square-foot multi-tenant campus serving nonprofits, workforce development, education, healthcare, and community partners. I manage a $1 million operating budget and led a $4.8 million roof, HVAC, and solar modernization project while maintaining uninterrupted tenant operations.

I build practical operating systems, policies, scorecards, and dashboards that improve accountability across work orders, occupancy, tenant satisfaction, energy use, and incident reporting. I partner with engineers, architects, contractors, municipal officials, and boards to keep projects compliant, on schedule, and aligned with long-term goals.

Previously, I directed commercial roofing and construction operations at Peake Contracting and managed facilities, budgets, volunteers, and large-event logistics at MorningStar Church. I enjoy developing leaders, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and turning organizational vision into measurable daily execution.
