At Capitec Bank, I became Branch Manager in July 2023 and improved overall business performance at the Odendaalsrus branch, earning three consecutive quarterly Performance Awards in my first year. I also achieved three consecutive months with a zero-error rate on credit-granting applications before transferring to the Virginia branch in September 2024.
I currently oversee branch operations, including business results, client service, credit granting, arrears management and risk management. I analyse reports, prepare business improvement plans and support the development of team members.
Before becoming Branch Manager, I was an Assistant Branch Manager at Capitec Bank, where I coached, trained and developed staff and shared in branch management duties. I also designed and implemented a training workbook for newly appointed Bank Better Champions, used across several business units and regions.
Earlier, I worked as a Financial Services Manager at JD Group, managing staff, credit, collections and branch performance. I hold a National Certificate: Banking (NQF5) from Cornerstone Performance Solutions and have completed training in leadership, management, risk and banking processes.
