Alicia Hammond
@aliciahammond
I build research-driven product strategy, scalable UX functions, and customer insight programs.
What I'm looking for
At Orbis, I led a company-wide Customer Success Feedback Program, Market Research Program, and AI adoption strategy for UXR and UXD across five departments. I managed a $600,000 research and design budget, maintained a centralized product portfolio roadmap, and synthesized user research, market data, and product feedback for executive decision making.
As Orbis's first UX hire, I built and scaled the UXR and product design function, recruited researchers and designers, and partnered with C-suite leaders to create a collaboration-focused project management system. I also led end-to-end research and design for a full product redesign in nine months, from persona research through high-fidelity prototypes and a phased rollout plan.
At Shure, I led research for two R&D product innovation projects and managed usability testing for a $1M website redesign. At The Motley Fool, I built research plans around membership challenges, led a team of contract and internal researchers, and developed a survey metric for brand performance.
I bring a psychology background to mixed-methods research, product strategy, service design, workshop facilitation, and teaching research methods. I enjoy turning customer evidence into practical roadmaps, stronger cross-functional alignment, and products ready for launch.
