I am a passionate biomedical scientist with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and minors in Neuroscience and Psychology. My journey has been marked by a commitment to research excellence and a dedication to improving mental health and wellbeing within the scientific community. I have been honored with several awards, including the NIH Honor Award for my contributions to the Office of Intramural Training and Education.

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in program management and research training at the National Institutes of Health. I successfully oversaw the NIH Summer Internship Program, managing over 1000 interns and enhancing their training experience. My role involved collaborating with various training offices to improve support for trainees and streamline onboarding processes, ensuring a focus on research ethics and lab safety.

In addition to my program management experience, I have a strong background in research, having worked as a Postbaccalaureate Cancer Research Training Fellow at the National Cancer Institute. My work involved optimizing lab organization and training others in bioinformatics. I am eager to continue my journey in a role that allows me to leverage my skills in research, education, and program management to make a meaningful impact.
