I’m a Native Amharic language expert with over 3+ years of professional experience in translation, editing, transcription, and linguistic data annotation, supported by 10+ years of technical and analytical experience. I deliver culturally accurate Amharic content across healthcare, legal, and technical domains, with a strong focus on dialects and linguistic nuances.

As a Freelance Amharic Linguist (AI & Language Services), I translate, edit, and proofread Amharic-English content while performing linguistic review and quality assurance for accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance. I manage multiple projects with strict deadlines without compromising quality.

I also support AI-related language tasks, including OCR annotation, data labeling, and multilingual content evaluation. I annotate and evaluate language datasets, identify errors, and provide structured feedback to improve language quality and model performance.

In project-based work with RWS and Meta, I contributed to OCR annotation by labeling and validating multilingual text data with high precision. I’ve also worked as a Technical Assistant – Digital Systems at TradeMark Africa, supporting digital platforms, data validation, user testing, and system evaluation in deadline-driven collaboration.
