Your role:
Be at the forefront of bringing Agentic AI to procurement: automating intake, accelerating approvals, and transforming how enterprises manage spend and vendor decisions at scale.
As a Solutions Consultant - AI Agents for Procurement, you will partner closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and optimize AI agents that automate complex procurement workflows. You'll act as a strategic advisor and technical builder to customers to deliver real business outcomes through AI automation.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer engagement, solution design, and AI-driven product development.
What You'll Do
Design & Build AI Agents: Work hand-in-hand with customers to understand procurement workflows and develop AI agents that solve their most critical pain points.
Own End-to-End Implementation: Lead onboarding and implementation of AI agent-driven solutions, managing requirements gathering, process mapping, configuration, and deployment.
Customer Strategy Partner: Advise customers on best practices, unlocking business value through automation and influencing broader adoption of AI within procurement.
Feedback Loop into Product: Drive tight feedback loops with engineering and product teams. Surface customer insights, prioritize high-impact features, and guide the roadmap for our AI agent platform.
Enterprise Stakeholder Enablement: Conduct training, documentation, and onboarding sessions to empower customer teams to self-serve and scale usage of Zip’s agents.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product to ensure customer success and technical feasibility throughout the customer lifecycle.
Agent Platform Innovation: Help shape the strategy and evolution of Zip’s AI agent framework through insights gained from real-world deployments.
You May Be a Great Fit If You Have:
4+ years of experience implementing procurement tools (ie. Coupa, Ariba etc.)
Deep technical curiosity with ability to understand and influence how AI agents are built, tested, and improved.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to manage ambiguity, own outcomes, and move fast in startup environments.
Bonus: CS, Engineering, or Math degree—or equivalent technical fluency.
*No previous AI experience is required (we will train on this!)
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000. The salary for this position is determined based on a variety of job-related factors that may include location, relevant experience, education, or particular skills and expertise.
