The role:
As a Senior Business Development Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in driving WorkSpan's growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to enhance our market presence and contribute to our revenue goals. You’ll work with the latest GTM software, hone your sales skills, master the evolving cloud, services, and AI technology market, and learn how partnerships and partner technology are shaping the future of go to market.

Your Responsibilities:
● Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities in targeted markets.
● Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster business growth.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and pursue strategic opportunities for lead generation.
● Conduct market research to understand industry trends and identify potential areas for expansion.
● Provide feedback from the market to enhance product development and marketing strategies.
● Work closely with the product and customer success teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
● Represent WorkSpan at industry events, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
● Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
● Mentor and guide junior business development team members.

Your qualifications:
● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
● Hunter Mindset
● Strong research and problem-solving skills
● Ability to identify opportunities and to develop and implement effective sales strategies
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Strong time management and organizational skills
● Highly coachable and strong ability to implement feedback
● Ability to work closely and collaboratively with the team
● Ability to deliver results
● Experience with Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesforce a plus
