Simply put, Vetcove helps veterinary organizations spend more time giving care, and less time shopping and comparing across vendors to supply their practices. We're looking for exceptionally talented and passionate people to join our growing team.

Vetcove is currently looking for motivated students with a strong interest in sales to help grow Vetcove’s user base. Similar to how Expedia, Kayak, and Trivago are used for travel; prices and availability for veterinary supplies differ from vendor to vendor. Vetcove allows veterinary practices to compare prices, what’s in stock, and order from all their vendors in one website/mobile app. Vetcove launched in 2015 and already more than half of the veterinary practices nationwide actively use it to help streamline their ordering process while saving money at the same time.Our summer sales internship program allows you to gain experience working in and support a high-growth sales organization.

Your job may include and is not limited to conducting proactive outreach to veterinary practices to book or reschedule meetings with potential users, supporting the existing sales team, and assisting with clinic retention.The ideal candidate is someone who is not only interested in sales but ideally has experience with any of the following:

  • Working in a sales environment

  • Working in a B2B (business-to-business) setting

In addition to the experience above, candidates will ideally have the following:

  • Previous experience working in an independent or remote role

  • Experience using a CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Ability to work independently

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Confidence in talking to individuals outside of the organization

It's like Trivago for veterinary hospitals to buy their pharmaceuticals, biologics, equipment, and supplies from all of their veterinary vendors.

Using Vetcove, veterinary hospitals cut ordering time 50-70%, and save thousands of dollars per year by ordering the right products from the right sources. It eases many of the frustrations related to inventory management and procurement like backorders, hard-to-find items, and sourcing generic alternatives, and reduces complexity for veterinary purchasers through consolidation.

Vetcove lists more than 150,000 SKUs from more than 2,100 manufacturers. Clinics can buy from all the major veterinary distributors, as well as direct from manufacturers, compounding pharmacies, and diagnostic laboratories.

Here's how it works: Vet hospitals search one unified and user-friendly catalog with all products in the entire industry. For each item in the catalog, they can view their hospital's own'​ pricing and the stock status from each vendor, as well as promotions, historical purchase information, and community-provided insights and discussion. Clinics can also manage all of their connected vendors'​ shopping carts from one screen, and create purchase lists across vendors.

In a world where consumers can easily compare pricing online, our mission is to use technology to give control back to the veterinarian. We're here to help practice owners and their staff stay profitable amid this challenging economic environment.
