We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with deep experience in software development. Our daily bread is technical challenges that require strong problem-solving skills. If you like technical challenges, team spirit and have knowledge of a wide range of technologies, we are looking for you!

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Supervise and mentor software engineers, become go-to person for the product
  • Take ownership of product architecture, follow principles of evolutionary architecture
  • Lead Node.js/Python competencies in the team
  • Have strong experience in: Nodejs framework, Git, Docker, Databases (preferably MySQL, Mongodb), AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, REST APIs
  • Analyze, design, and implement new product features
  • Constantly assess and utilize new technologies and SW development approaches
  • Cooperate with smart colleagues within international teams
  • Be part of and actively contribute to amazing Vendavo engineering community
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures and algorithms.

THE SKILL SET

  • 10+ years of Experience as a Lead Software Engineer
  • Test automation preferred
  • Ability to understand new problem/business domains
  • Enthusiasm for SW development and problem-solving
  • Take responsibility for the quality of the work you deliver
  • Ability to pass knowledge to others
  • Ability to communicate ideas to others, to mentor others
  • Work experience in Backend Frontend Development
  • Extensive Nodejs Python development experience
  • Should have good experience with Python and good experience with AWS
  • Extensive experience writing automated unit tests to ensure high quality code
  • Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process for enterprise SaaS applications
  • Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems
  • Should have experience in Code Analysis and Code Coverage tools like SonarQube
  • Good working exposure to agile development methodologies and scrum process would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with containers is a bonus (Docker, Kubernetes)
