The Payroll Manager will oversee all payroll services for the company's permanent staff, provide guidance to the payroll team, and manage relationships with third-party service providers. The position reports to the Director, Payroll Strategy and Systems, and is responsible for managing a team of 2 in North America and working closely with finance and operational leadership to evaluate and implement payroll solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- 5+ years finance related experience specific to payroll with 2+ years managing a team
- Experience running operations with high volume, multi-state payroll, and experience analyzing that data
- Strong interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational and project management skills
- Passion for providing excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work across multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously and ability to adapt in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel including V-look ups, pivot tables, and other related software applications
- Experience in Oracle HCM Cloud strongly preferred
- Experience in other Oracle Payroll products required
- CPP Certification preferred
