Property Support Specialist
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Property Support Specialist to assist a growing property leasing operation. The ideal candidate has experience in the property management industry, a strong customer service background, and the ability to manage high volumes of inbound calls while qualifying prospective tenants.
The client manages 170–600 rental units, with most of their operational processes—applications, leasing steps, and payments—already automated through an online platform. What they need now is a reliable professional who can ensure smooth communication, screen incoming inquiries, and help maintain an efficient tenant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to inbound calls from prospective tenants, residents, and vendors.
- Qualify leads by gathering necessary information, understanding prospect needs, and determining suitability based on property requirements.
- Provide accurate information regarding availability, leasing processes, pricing, and property features.
- Log conversations, inquiries, and follow-ups into property management systems.
- Coordinate with the property manager regarding urgent issues, maintenance requests, and high-priority leads.
- Assist tenants with online processes such as applications, payment navigation, and portal troubleshooting.
- Maintain organized records of leads, communication logs, and leasing pipeline updates.
- Support general administrative duties related to property operations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience with property management tools such as Buildium or Yardi is required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document interactions.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
- Prior experience in leasing, property management, or real estate support is highly preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain composure during high call volumes.
- Comfortable navigating online portals and assisting tenants with digital workflows.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to established operational processes.
- Must be able to work full-time in the CST timezone.
