What You'll Bring:
We’re looking for a media evaluation, communications planning and coordination professional to join TransUnion as an Analyst in our International Public Relations and Corporate Communications team (part of the Global Corporate Affairs and Communications team) based in the virtual Global Capability Center in South Africa. This person will join a dynamic communications team that helps build, protect and monitor TransUnion’s reputation with key stakeholders worldwide. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across TransUnion’s International markets as well as the U.S.
You will have primary accountability for tracking media coverage and its evaluation (including reports for quarterly PR programs across 30+ markets out of 8 primary Hubs) and wider activity support (including but not limited to calendar coordination and planning, project and production support, liaising with other channels such as social, web and design).
You will partner with colleagues in the Corporate Affairs and Communications, and Brand Management and Marketing teams to effectively track TransUnion and competitor activity and provide the insights to evaluate PR activity success and inform future strategy and activity. Monitoring duties will also support issues-based work as required – tracking coverage across all forms of media (including print, online, broadcast, social etc.).
You will also help coordinate International PR activity, liaising with our International teams (and agencies where appropriate) to keep an up-to-date view of upcoming communications activity. Other aspects of the role include calendars, project coordination and production (working with creative teams in other disciplines).
The successful candidate for this role will need to be flexible in their approach and accommodate evolving requests and technology, and support on other cross-regional (International region) activity as required. This will also include maintaining online press office functionality and tools and other related tasks.
You will also work with colleagues across our wider marketing organisation in the U.S. and International markets. There will be opportunities to get involved in a range of projects, spanning B2B, corporate and B2C activity.
This role will suit someone who has a basic knowledge of media monitoring and evaluation and/or a coordination role but wants to enhance their skills and shape the evolving capabilities of a growing communications team.

Additional Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple streams of work. Additionally, the candidate should possess a range of technical skills – including media evaluation and/or PR planning/coordination of multiple teams. They should be willing to work with colleagues across multiple time zones (from Canada and Colombia all the way through to Hong Kong and the Philippines).
For positions based in South Africa, preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the company's Employment Equity plan and targets.

Please note it is a requirement of the Global Capability Centre Africa that you reside in a home that is fibre ready; and has space for you to be able to work comfortably and confidentially on a day-to-day basis for the purpose of your proposed employment. You can be based anywhere in South Africa that has fibre, but will not be able to work in a location outside of South Africa.
A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required, should you be successful, you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre in order to work effectively.
This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
