Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver complex technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, leadership, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects meet our high standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents, including project timelines, milestones, and risk assessments.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or risks.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Coordinate with government clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear and open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budget, track expenditures, and ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in a technical environment, preferably within the government contracting sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development and project management methodologies, primarily Agile.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, or EAD required.
  • Must be able to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which they are hired (e.g., must reside in the U.S.)
