As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the successful execution of complex IT projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and previous experience managing large-scale IT projects.
You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and develop project plans and timelines. You will also be responsible for coordinating with technical teams and ensuring that project deliverables are on track and meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to gather and document project requirements
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- PMP certification is highly preferred
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
- Understanding of data center architecture
- Certification in AWS or Azure
- Understands networking switches and Cisco products
- Firewall experience in any of the primary brands Cisco, Palto Alto and Fortinet
- Undemands virtual server
- Has an understating's of UPS's, PDU's, In row-cooling
- PMI project management certification
- Agile Scrum master
- Broad technical know ledge
- Understand databases, analytics and reporting
- Can present to executives
- Can document and create detailed documents
