How it all began

2014

Tommy Fotak, Simon Westlake, and James MacGregor create Biteable in Hobart, Australia. Their goal is to make top-quality video possible for everyone with a tool that’s sublimely simple.

2015

Seed funding of $1.1 million (AUD) gets the team growing and brings the platform to millions of new users. Biteable opens offices in Melbourne and Hobart.

2018

Second round investment of $2.8 million (AUD) sees new talent brought onboard. Eye-popping videos become easier and quicker to create than ever before.

Today
