We’re hiring a self-motivated Project Manager with experience delegating to 5 or more project team members. The Senior Project Manager will be expected to oversee the initiation, implementation and analysis of customer and internal projects. The successful candidate will have a background in both business and IT and will have an extensive understanding of Infrastructure Industry. We’re looking for a responsible, articulate and motivated Senior Project Manager who can quickly identify vulnerabilities and obstacles, and then create innovative solutions to any problems. You will be responsible for overseeing the work of at least 5 project teams and communicating their progress to senior management at regular intervals. Senior Project Manager responsibilities

  • Lead clients' infrastructure & cloud migration engagements, including cloud migration strategy, application cloud suitability/readiness assessment, migration planning, sourcing options, business case and execution coordination
  • Lead design, implementation and migration to new IT infrastructure and cloud (IaaS/PaaS) environments
  • Manage a portfolio of large, long-term, and complex projects that may span multiple lines of business
  • Develop individual project plans complete with budgetary information and resource planning
  • Works with functional Managers for project timeline and resource management
  • Customer relationship management; Interfaces directly with customer's IT and executive management;
  • Change and risk management
  • Status reporting on project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
  • Host a project meetings for each project under your direction
  • Refine project budget as needed to ensure timeliness and fiscal responsibility
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer- or business-related discipline required (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in project management
  • 2+ Years of Program and Project Planning including experience with Cloud Transformation Projects and Programs
  • Good experience and understanding of project controls, processes, governance and management
  • Understanding and knowledge across wider Cloud adoption and technology enablement (Microsoft, AWS, Public Cloud etc..)
  • Knowledge of transition management, user adoption and customer success is of interest for certain engagements
  • Professional in approach with maturity and excellent customer facing skills
  • Ability to complete projects on time and within the stated budget
  • Excellent communication, organization, time-management and leadership skills
  • Expertise with project management, collaboration, and time management tools
  • Experience with process improvement
  • PMP or PRINCE2 Certification
  • Knowledge on SAP or Unix, Linux, VMware, Citrix, Azure technologies will be added advantage
  • Experience into O365 is must

Additional skills or responsibilities

  • Ability to spin up and drive cloud transformation engagements
  • Project initiation process, workshops and presentation skills (pre sales advantageous)
  • Ability to support business case creation and executive sponsors
  • Process methods and frameworks including PMP, Agile, Scrum or in house methods
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
