The company offers personalized pet nutrition and health solutions powered by data and convenience. With proven product-market fit and strong growth in core markets, they are now expanding into Germany and looking for a strategic leader to drive success in this key region.

The role

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial Germany Country Manager to lead expansion into one of the biggest pet markets in Europe. In this strategic and hands-on role, you’ll take full ownership of scaling the brand in Germany — with the ambition to triple market growth year over year. You’ll work at the intersection of marketing, growth, operations, and customer success, backed by a fast-moving team and a product-market fit that is already proven.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead market entry and overall expansion strategy in Germany

  • Manage and optimize performance marketing, local campaigns, and partnerships

  • Monitor and improve key metrics like CAC, LTV, retention, and payback periods

  • Tailor the product and experience to fit the German market and customer expectations

  • Collaborate with product, tech, operations, and customer support to deliver an exceptional experience

  • Represent the brand in local media, events, and strategic partnerships

  • Build and manage a local team over time, starting in a hands-on “player-coach” capacity

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing, growth, consulting, or business operations

  • Strong understanding of D2C models and performance marketing KPIs

  • Experience in a fast-scaling startup or subscription-based business (a plus)

  • Native-level German and strong communication skills in English

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset — able to both lead and execute

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, international environment

  • Data-driven and commercially focused, with a high level of ownership and accountability
