Currently, we are looking for a Senior Back-end Developer (Node.js) who will join our 10-person IT team in Riga. Your Duties:
As a Senior Back-end Developer (Node.js), you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining APIs for both web and mobile applications, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Working with PostgreSQL, including indexing, optimizing, and maintaining efficient database operations.
- Utilizing Nest.js and other back-end tools and libraries to build robust, scalable services.
- Collaborating closely with the team to deliver high-quality, efficient technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on Node.js and modern API-driven architectures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Node.js.
- Experience in API development.
- Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, persuade stakeholders, and plan tasks effectively.
- Ability to write efficient, clean, and well-structured code.
- Experience with Blitz.js or NestJS frameworks.
- English language Upper Intermediate (B2) is a must.
Nice to have:
- Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Experience working with ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or MikroORM.
