Who We're Looking For
This position oversees the company’s global accounts payable function, including working closely with the Shared Service Center (SSC) managers to provide guidance, and to monitor priorities and activities in accordance with established KPIs.-

Scope of the Role:
- Direct Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
Key Responsibilities
- This role provides oversight for both the accounts payable and network accounts payable teams and has a key role in process improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Responsibility to make supplier payments, as needed for high-risk escalations and regions.
- Monitor Accounts Payable as necessary to meet corporate priorities and objectives.
- Pursue automation and process improvement opportunities in accounts payable, network accounts payable and network provisioning functions.
- Works closely with Accounting, SSC AP and Network AP teams and NW team to ensure costs are accurately recorded each period.
- Develop and deliver weekly analytic packages to support business decisions such as liquidity, vendor agings, goods receipts and vendor escalations.
- Work with vendors, the CTIO organization, accounts payable and customers to manage billing disputes.
- Contributes to operational cost forecasting working closely with FP&A, the CTIO organization, and other stakeholders.
- Provide expense analysis and reporting, and provide frequent updates to the Finance team.
- Perform network cost audits, including monitoring dispute management working with 3rd parties as necessary.
- Interfaces with senior management regarding adherence to policy and proposed improvements or changes.
- Identify and comply with internal controls to meet Internal Audit standards and SOX controls.
- Work with various internal groups to improve hand-off processes for payables group.
Experience, Education, and Certifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years related experience
- Accounting or Financial experience required
Additional Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of cost structure for all network products
- Knowledge of ordering, data collection and billing processes
- Knowledge of tariff’s and their effects on cost structure and vendor invoices
- Knowledge of industry standards for pricing and purchasing network products
- Strong analytical skills
