Medical Scribe

We're seeking organized and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our team, to service our network of businesses worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a medical field or pharmaceutical-related industry
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Virtual Assistance, Medical Documentation, or a related field
• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, reaching at least B2 proficiency
• Thorough grasp of medical terminologies and practices
• Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems with the ability to resolve common technical issues
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Technologically proficient, familiar with contemporary technologies such as desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP
• Able to work the night-shift.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Document patient medical history, symptoms, prior diagnoses, and relevant health information.
• Record healthcare provider findings, follow-up directives, and prescribed therapies.
• Transcribe verbal directives and medical dictation pertaining to patient orders, such as laboratory tests and medications.
• Establish and uphold records within EHR/EMR systems.
• Coordinate communication among healthcare providers, patients, and other professionals.
• Verify the precision of medical record documentation and adherence to regulatory and institutional guidelines.
• Undertake miscellaneous tasks as needed.
