Position: Bookkeeper/ Controller
Work Hours: M - F 9 am-5 pm CST
Pay Range: 1,500-2,000 USD/month
The Bookkeeper/ Controller is responsible for the accounting of the company. This includes overseeing all accounting operations, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and payroll. They will also develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, and ensure that the company complies with all applicable United States accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Standard Bookkeeping across the organization
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. As well as month end.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the company complies with all applicable accounting regulations.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to management.
- Oversee the financial reporting for the company's real estate operations.
- Work with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies for the company's growth.
- Provide annual budgets and forecasting
- Provide financial support for the company's strategic planning process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field and CPA or similar certification.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- 3+ years of current experience with Quickbooks Desktop
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and procedures.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
