Job Title: Home Healthcare Recruiter & Patient Coordinator
Schedule: 80 total hours per month that fall within business hours of Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST (Flexible)
Salary Range: 900 - 1,000 USD per month

About the Job:
- The Home Healthcare Recruiter / Patient Coordinator is responsible for building a network of qualified candidates, evaluating skills in relation to the position requirements, negotiating compensation, overseeing the completion of onboarding requirements, and maintaining all of the documentation.
- The Home Healthcare Recruiter / Patient Coordinator is expected to be knowledgeable of industry regulations nationally and statewide. They are also expected to share best practices and maintain and develop relationships within the industry to foster stronger business relations.
- The Home Healthcare Recruiter / Patient Coordinator is also responsible for scheduling initial home care patient services. This position will process referrals for home care aide services and schedule delivery of services according to patient specifics, authorizations assigning cases to staff caregivers. They will coordinate with Nurse Supervisor to compete the client open visits. They will also notify the patient, family and case manager of initial aide placements. Carefully maintain Protected Health Information in compliance with HIPAA standards
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recruiting
o Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare professionals who meet the offices immediate and projected needs
o Utilize various recruitment tools and methods to source and attract a pool of qualified and diverse candidates
o Match and evaluate candidate skills to client and patient needs through screening
and interviewing
o Maintain regular contact with and develops relationships with the Operations Manager
to identify current staffing needs and requirements, projected openings, and
potential new business opportunities
• Verification and Compliance
o Complete necessary reference checks on candidates’ background and work experience
o Ensure candidates meet required hiring standards
o Locate and verify all required documentation needed for compliance
o Make sure caregivers and field staff get scheduled for background checks
o Maintain and file all necessary documentation according to the Operations Manager’s system
• Onboarding
o Negotiate salary, terms and conditions of employment with candidates
o Complete orientation meetings with new employees
o Administer and grade written tests with candidates when necessary
o Communicate with the Nurse Supervisor to schedule skills tests with candidates when necessary
• Metrics
o Hire 2 new home health aides per month
o Hire candidates that translate to at least 90 days of employment with Haven and a billable hourly total of 20 hours weekly
o Hire other staff as needed, such as nurses and office staff
• Client Coordination
o Receive and look through client referrals
o Reach out to potential clients and discuss their preferences
o Match a new caregiver with a new client
o Work with the Nurse Supervisor to schedule Open visits
o Coordinate a start date and schedule with the new caregiver and new client
o Pass off managing the client and caregiver to the Care Coordinator
• Continuous Improvement
o Incorporate caregiver and field staff retention strategy into daily routine
o Build and cultivate relationships with industry contacts to gain industry knowledge,
referrals and business development leads
• Miscellaneous
o Meeting quarterly and annual targets as directed by Haven’s CEO
o Being accessible to Haven’s ownership and manager in a reasonable and responsible
Manner
o Participating in weekly target calls with Haven’s CEO
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
• Has 2 years of experience as a Recruiter
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Indeed
• Undergraduate degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or licensed RN
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Results driven, sense of urgency, and high standard of professionalism
