The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Country Governance Assistant, you will provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to Site Leader and Country Governance, ensuring seamless daily operations, strong stakeholder communication, and continuous progress on critical initiatives. You will serve as a trusted advisor and liaison, leading efforts that drive efficiency, coordination, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Executive Partnership and Operational Continuity
- Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the Site Leader.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the executive office and internal teams, clients, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Act on behalf of the Country Chair when required to ensure continuity in operations and timely resolution of urgent matters.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across departments to help resolve business-critical issues such as reorganizations, procurement processes, or external relations.
2. Communication & Information Management
- Draft and edit business communications, agendas, reports, and presentations
- Take accurate meeting minutes, follow up on action items, and ensure proper documentation and distribution.
- Maintain well-organized digital and physical records while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Support internal communication efforts and contribute to organizational well-being, engagement initiatives and others
3. Strategic Coordination & Administrative Support
- Plan and coordinate events and team activities
- Monitor and track commitments from leadership meetings to ensure timely execution.
- Manage administrative tasks including purchase orders, invoice processing, and coordination with Finance and Procurement teams.
- Identify areas for process improvement and propose actionable solutions to enhance administrative efficiency.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Management Support Specialist in a highly matrixed organization.
- CEFR B2+ in English (spoken and written)
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
