The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Contract Analyst, you will help protect Solventum’s interests and enable business growth by ensuring contracts are legally compliant, operationally clear, and aligned to business objectives. You will review, draft, and negotiate agreements with clients, vendors, and partners, proactively identifying risks and advising stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations.

- Reviewing and analyzing contracts (proposals, agreements, amendments) to ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and business objectives.
- Identifying risks, liabilities, and unfavorable terms; recommending revisions and mitigation strategies to protect Solventum.
- Drafting, revising, and maintaining contract documents (new agreements, renewals, amendments) with accuracy, clarity, and version control.
- Negotiating key terms including scope, deliverables, payment structures, and commercial conditions to achieve favorable, compliant outcomes.
- Partnering cross-functionally (Legal, Finance, Procurement, Project/Business teams) to interpret requirements, clarify obligations, and drive practical, cost-effective execution.
- Ensuring contract compliance through periodic audits, reviews, and process checks; escalating issues and improvement opportunities as needed.
- Managing contract lifecycle administration, including tracking key dates (renewals, expirations), supporting extensions/terminations, and resolving contract-related execution issues.
- Staying current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards; updating templates and processes and supporting contract management best practices across the business.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or related field (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Two (2) years of experience in a contract analyst, contract administration, or contract management role.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- Working knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and compliance requirements; ability to interpret complex contract language accurately.
- Proven negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate contract concepts to non-legal audiences.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfort working in contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools or similar systems.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Juris Doctor).
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to evaluate contractual risk and business impact.
- Contract management certification (e.g., CCCM or other NCMA certification).
- Experience supporting contracts in regulated and/or complex industries (e.g., healthcare, technology, government, or similar).
- Experience improving contracting processes, templates, and workflows (continuous improvement mindset).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $96,000 - $132,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
