The team is undergoing a major re-platforming initiative, introducing a modern architecture to accelerate new greenfield projects. Position – how you’ll contribute
- Identify and review potential external data sources (e.g., Google Places API, Yelp API, Companies House, data brokers), setup data supply contracts and onboard suppliers in line with our Client’s processes
- Match our Client’s partner data with these external sources to identify inaccuracies and gaps.
- Assess data completeness and quality across partner records (location, trading status, contact details).
- Prioritize and size identified data issues for remediation.
- Integrate verified external data to improve accuracy of partner details.
- Support partner re-engagement campaigns by preparing clean contact lists and monitoring bouncebacks.
- Conduct desk analysis to understand scale of issues (e.g., missing contact details, incorrect trading status).
- Produce clear reports and dashboards highlighting data quality metrics, trends, and progress.
- Collaborate with Business Analyst and other project team members to investigate systemic issues that could cause poor data quality (e.g. offers not appearing in search).
- Prepare datasets for CRM team to execute email campaigns encouraging partners to update offers.
- Coordinate with Partnership Team to investigate Managed partner data issues
Expectations – the experience you need
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation tools.
- Strong hands on experience with APIs and data integration (Google Places, Yelp, Companies House preferred).
- Experience using AI/LLMs to enhance data sets.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks, enrichment techniques and entity matching.
Analytical Skills
- Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes in large datasets.
- Skilled in producing actionable insights and clear reporting for non-technical stakeholders.
Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of CRM systems and partner engagement processes is a plus.
- Experience in retail or partner-based ecosystems desirable.
- UK-specific experience of data sources, address format etc. strongly preferred.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Tools & Technologies
- SQL, Excel, and experience with BI tools like Lightdash, Looker or Omni.
- API integration experience, including creating automated API calls to access external data.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) beneficial.
Success Measures
- Improved accuracy of partner details (location, trading status, contact info).
- Reduction in member complaints related to incorrect offers.
- Increased partner engagement through successful data-driven campaigns.
