Android Development Lead (AAOS Experience)

We are seeking a Senior Android Development Lead with experience in building and optimizing Android-based in-car experiences. The role involves leading a team of Android engineers and QA, driving technical architecture, and ensuring automotive-grade reliability. The company is a leading provider of voice AI technology.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Android development
• 2+ years with Android Automotive OS
• Proven experience leading Engineering teams or technical projects
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack, and Android app architecture (MVVM, Hilt/Koin)
• Experience with voice assistants or audio processing
• Familiarity with AAOS-specific APIs, CarApp library, AudioManager, and in-car UX constraints
• Proven experience in aligning stakeholders
• Experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
• Strong team-building skills
• Excellent communication skills
