Job location

In this position, you have the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Romania, or you can choose to work from our offices in Cluj, Napoca depending on your preference. Alternatively, if you are Serbia-based, please feel free to apply as well!

About the role

We are seeking a Medior/Senior Frontend Developer to join one of our full scrum teams and play a critical role in delivering high-quality solutions using modern frontend technologies. As a senior developer, you will work closely with UI designers, product owners, and other team members to ensure the best user experience and contribute to the overall success of the product and team.

You will be responsible for enabling the technical design and development of features and leveraging your deep understanding of modern frontend technologies, such as React, Redux, Design Systems, and reusable web components, to create exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Frontend Development: Design and develop high-quality, responsive, and performant frontend solutions using modern technologies, such as React, Redux, Jest, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (SASS / LESS / SCSS).
• Modular Architecture: Implement and maintain modular frontend architectures to enhance maintainability, scalability, and reusability of code. Ensure that code components are well-structured and easily manageable.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UI designers to ensure the user interface is consistent, usable, and accessible. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall user experience.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, including software engineers, product owners, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to elevate code quality and team performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve your knowledge and skills. Stay up-to-date with modern frontend technologies, development practices, and industry trends. Share knowledge and best practices with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

• Solid experience with modern frontend technologies, including React, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS (SASS / LESS / SCSS).
• Experience writing unit tests, with a preference for those skilled in using Jest, Cypress.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing modular frontend architectures. Ability to create reusable components and maintain a well-organized codebase.
• Proven experience providing technical guidance and expertise in a team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• An understanding of the importance of user experience and a dedication to creating intuitive and delightful interfaces.
• Experience with utilizing a design system in your projects and knowledge of UI5 web components.
• Experience working with distributed teams and remote collaboration and eager to work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English.
